After a 4 day absense, Tony has gotten back online! Here's what he had to say:Hola mi amigos! It's Tony O. and I survived Ike! Actually this really stinks! Luckily everybody is OK. we had some damage at our house but we've cleaned up all the huge mess. Still without power and prob won't have it until Friday. :( I'm sitting outside a closed Starbucks stealing their wifi lol but I wnated to let everybody know I'm ok. I feel sorry for all the people in Galveston who lost their houses but I think most people survived.The winds were so fierce and it did a lot of damage everywhere. It was pretty wild. It's so weird that power is out almost everywhere but I've found a few fast food joints that are open lol. You know me i've managed to find some fun in all this mess. hanging out with my friends esp the ones who have power, cable and a/c lol. anyway i don't want to get mugged here so i'm gonna go but just wanted to say thx for all your worries. We are blessed to be Ok and to get the week off school lol.when we get power...

As most of you know, Hurricane Ike went through Houston, Tony's hometown. No worries though, there was some building damage and trees down but not many serious injuries in Houston. There are power outages and such though which is probably why Tony has not been online all weekend.

You might know Hurricane Ike is heading towards H Town. Heres what Tony has to say about it.Waiting to hear if Hurricane Ike is gonna hit H-town or not. Looks like it will so we're trying to get ready. Right now we're not going to evacuate. (We're Texans we don't evacuate. REMEMBER THE ALAMO!! lol) Most people are staying. Galveston has mandatory evacuations because they're on the water but it's kind of hard to evacuate an entire city of 4 million people! Prob safer to be at home than stuck in traffic anyway. The lines at the gas station are crazy. I waited 20 min. and when it was my turn a lady said to me "Don't you dare!" and stole my spot! See why I'm staying home? lolJust hope it's not so bad. I hope the power doesn't go out because I get a little craaaaazy when I can't get on myspace lol. Oh snap that would also mean no tv….no video games…..maybe no cell reception????? Wha????? Geez this might be a long weekend. : / Hoping everybody stays safe. I'll try to give you another report tomorrow....

Here's a short note from Tony about his day yesterday.

So you probably know that today is September 11. I still remember it like it was yesterday. I even went to Ground Zero in NYC and I'll never forget that either. Keeping all the people who lost their lives and all their families in my prayers. Last year I sang a song at a 9/11 concert here that my voice teacher conducts every year. We were supposed to have another concert this Saturday but it got postponed due to the possible hurricane. Disney's gonna be tracking the number of viewers on this one so pls. write it down & tell all your friends to watch ATBR on 9/12 and set all your Tivos and DVRs lol! So far Disney said ATBR is getting GREAT ratings so thanks for all your support!! The promos for Here I Go are running on the Disney Channel.
